Capt. Mike Marisa
Capt. Mike is a USCG Master Captain and seasoned fishing guide with extensive knowledge of fish species, seasonal patterns, habitat, behavior, and advanced techniques. With over 25 years of experience fishing worldwide, from Alaska to the Caribbean, he offers a unique and global perspective on fishing. He combines that knowledge with intimate local knowledge, allowing him to adapt to changing conditions and teach others to fish successfully in familiar and unfamiliar waters. Whether you're seeking trophy catches, mastering a technique, or simply enjoying time on the water, Capt. Mike brings professionalism, adaptability, and a passion for conservation to every outing.
Riley Bowser
First Mate & Rising Star
At just 20 years old, Riley has already built an impressive fishing résumé. He’s served as mate in tournaments like the OC Tuna Tournament, White Marlin Open, and Poor Girls Open. Riley has worked as a deckhand on boats including Flying Fish Bonaire, Game On, King Fisher, Jetty Girl, and Hawgfin out of Ocean City. When he’s not on the water, you’ll find him hunting or trapping—always connected to the outdoors. Following in Captain Mike’s footsteps, Riley represents the next generation of elite anglers.
Shennoah Miller Founder, COO & MVP
The brains (and beauty) behind Big Man Big Fish, Shennoah keeps the operation running smoothly—both on land and sea. A Financial Advisor and fitness coach by trade, she ensures the business, the crew, and the brand all stay shipshape. Whether she’s coordinating charters, managing client experiences, or keeping her boys on schedule, Shennoah is the anchor that holds Big Man Big Fish steady. Her vision and drive have shaped the company into what it is today: professional, passionate, and full of purpose.
